Hello, I’m Dawn

I left home at 16 with a lot of personal stuff to overcome. I didn’t want to just scrape by. I wanted more. So, I fought for it. I went to night school, got my A-levels, and trained as a therapeutic counsellor. It wasn’t easy. It took years of commitment and resilience. But I made it happen.

Life since then has been full of change. I’ve moved over 20 times, been divorced, and navigated life as a single parent. If there’s one thing all that has taught me, it’s this: you can start over, no matter where you are in life. It’s never too late to rewrite your story.

How I Got Here

After working as a gallery assistant, a salesperson, a counsellor, a manager, and a teacher for children with additional needs, I hit a moment of feeling… flat. I realised I needed a new challenge. A way to reconnect with what I loved most - helping people grow and thrive. That’s when I decided to train as a coach. It brought back all the best parts of my work in counselling (without the things that didn’t feel like the right fit anymore).

Since starting this path, I’ve changed my own life in ways I never thought possible. I’ve improved my health, fitness, motivation and, most importantly, my sense of purpose. Now, at 56, I’m proving to myself (and hopefully to you!) that it’s never too late to create the life you want.

Why I Coach

I believe every stage of life can be both exciting and challenging. Whether it’s overcoming imposter syndrome, grappling with a late ADHD diagnosis, or navigating a career change, I feel so passionate about helping people rediscover their confidence, clarity, and a renewed sense of purpose.

My philosophy is simple:

  • Everyone has the strengths and skills they need to succeed. You just need to unlock them.

  • Self-doubt and self-limiting beliefs don’t have to hold you back.

  • With the right support and accountability, change becomes less overwhelming and more achievable.

For me, coaching isn’t about telling you what to do. It’s about walking beside you. It’s about listening, encouraging, and celebrating each small (or big!) win until you get to where you want to be.

This process has been transformative for me, not only in my professional growth but personally, too. One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned is the importance of taking time. Growth doesn’t happen overnight. It’s a steady process, and that’s okay.

So that’s me!
Now, let’s talk about you.
